Copyright

All articles submitted to the Revista Criminalidad must be accompanied by the respective declaration of originality signed by the author or authors authorizing, in an unlimited period of time, the Directorate of Criminal Investigation and INTERPOL (DIJIN) of the National Police of Colombia to include said text in the Revista Criminalidad.  so that it can be reproduced, edited, distributed, exhibited and communicated in the country and abroad by printed or electronic means, the Internet in full text or any other means known or to be known.

In this sense, when there is no contractual mediation between an author and the Revista Criminalidad, by default, the copyright (that is, the right to reproduce the article in other media) will always remain in the hands of the editor. The author will never lose authorship or the recognition that the article is his/her own, however, once it is sent to the Revista Criminalidad, it is immediately under his/her ownership, unless in the evaluation process it is rejected and returned to the author. For this reason, the author cannot apply for his or her article if it is already being evaluated or is already published in another journal.

Therefore, the authors agree to assign the publication rights in favor of the Revista Criminalidad, in accordance with the terms of the Creative Commons license: Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivative Works.

In this way, authors and readers can copy and disseminate the article in the final version published online by Revista Criminalidad, as long as the author (or authors) of the article is recognized and identified, the final published article is not commercially used, nor are they derivative works or modified versions. The Revista Criminalidad does not necessarily identify with the opinions expressed by the authors.
